What to Expect

It is never easy to visit a new church for the first time so we want to be as helpful as we can to make your experience a good one. At Living Hope Church, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. What people usually notice first about us is the life-giving nature of our ministry. Our goal is to infuse life and God’s love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways.

Let's talk about dress. A few people dress up, but most people choose to dress down and come casual. Come the way that you feel most comfortable.

Who does not like getting gifts? Well, here at LHC we are no different, each person will received a welcome kit that includes all you need to know about our church as well as a complementary gift.

Our children's ministry is here to provide your children a safe and enjoyable environment while you enjoy the service. We use a computer system to check in your kids, but don't worry one of our background cleared volunteers will assist you. Expedition is for Babies and Toddlers and Elevate is for children ages 4-11. Students over the age of 12 are encouraged to worship with their parents. This group has its own service on Sunday night called the "EDGE".

worship
This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. We have live upbeat worship with guitars, drums -the works, as well as more intimate songs of worship. Everyone worships in their own unique way – for many, that means singing & clapping, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You’re welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

giving
Each week there is a time to worship God through giving. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders (called tithing), allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. From time to time we will also hold special giving times for unique goals (called offerings). Both tithes and offerings allows Living Hope Church the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.

As a guest, you'll be asked to fill out a Connection Card during the service. Don' worry we have a "no hassle guarantee" which means we only ask for your information so we can pray for you and thank you for joining for a service. Just place the card in the boxes located on the walls as you leave the service

the message (sermon)
Every weekend, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. We provide handouts and a personal note binders (given at our Simple Church class). We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life. If for some reason you miss a service you can join us for an online experience by clicking on "Media Center".

communion
Once a month, we celebrate communion together. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer – as long they’ve made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and bread that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.

After the service

visit the lobby
As a guest, we would love to have you stay around a bit. We understand if you have to go but our service is designed with a 15 minute "chat" time from 11:30 to 11:45. Of course you can pickup your kids when the service is over but why not let them enjoy their new friends for a bit while you make a few of your own.

Make sure that you have the security tags that nursery and children's workers gave you when you dropped your kids off so that we can ensure your children's safety. Please pick up your kids we don't want any family mixup's (ha).

Hang out for a while and have some coffee or any other beverage on us for free!
